Understand the business idea
Stakeholders are individuals or groups affected by, or able to affect, a business. Their interests differ: employees may value security while owners may prioritise return and customers value price, quality and service.
In an examination response, the idea only becomes useful when it is connected to the organisation's objective, resources and market. A distribution firm wants night deliveries to reduce cost, while residents object to noise and employees request premium pay.
- Can you define the central concept precisely?
- Can you identify evidence that makes the concept relevant to this business?
- Can you distinguish a possible outcome from a guaranteed outcome?
